“Don’t look any further. Go here. I have been to garages all over Edinburgh to get my cars sorted over the years and tried out Claremont whilst being scammed by another in the area. And they were unbelievably kind, genuine and honest about their pricing. They called me to check it was okay to go ahead once they’d inspected the Vechile and sorted it within the same day. I even called them at end of day to ask them if they could do another job on it and they did it there and then. I have only written a google review once or twice before so I hope this gives perspective as to how strongly I would recommend this garage to others!”

It was important for me to go somewhere myself, knowing very little about cars, and I was delighted that they explained everything, they were patient with me and they fixed all issues with my car. I have a very old car and had to go back and forth, but since picking it up over a week ago, my car drives so well and feels brand new. I am so so happy I went to this garage and will 100% be back for next MOT/ fixes if and when they are needed. If there are any other women reading this review and find it helpful to know - it really is a pleasant place to deal with and very professional. The costs were reasonable and fair.”

Also, they have helped with several small things, such as check safety of chipped tyre, and release bolt on front seats so we could tether an Axkid car seat without impairing seat adjustment -- little things that actually matter very much and make a huge difference for a busy family life dependent on the car. Make them your go-to garage if you can, you won't regret it!”

Being a time served mechanic myself me and the boss got chatting and told him it had been a while since I had been on the tools. He offered me to come in and do a couple of shifts and help in anyway.
